Rock sugar or candy sugar, commonly known as mishri, is an unrefined form of sugar, commonly used for culinary as well as medicinal purposes and is made from crystallized and flavoured sugar. It is less sweet than refined sugar, which is a variation of taste in comparison to traditionally used white sugar.
